Hi, my name is Crystal.  I grew up in the Cleveland Ohio area, but I moved and have made the Louisville, KY area my home for over 20 years.  After a layoff during Covid-19, I assessed all of the soft skills that I acquired over various jobs in Customer Service, Information Technology, and Marketing.  I remembered that I took a few accounting courses in college and I've always been interested in Finance and Money Management.  I decided that my attention to detail, accuracy, math skills, quality, and focus on customer service would make me a good bookkeeper.  I completed a bookkeeping program called Bookkeeper Launch which is a comprehensive series of lessons to not only learn QuickBooks and bookkeeping, but also how to start a successful business.  I also obtained my QuickBooks certifications through another program called Akadian Accounting Education.

Choosing a business name is incredibly difficult, but I wanted to use my name in my business name.  Since 'crystal' means 'clear and transparent', I decided to use Clear and Transparent Bookkeeping Services as a tagline and Crystal Clear Calculations was born.

In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and singing karaoke.  I have two children, a son and a daughter.  I have three cats and a super supportive boyfriend who helps with IT support and the creation of this webpage.  Thank you, Ryan!!!
